Finally a nice sunny weekend without rain. Dr. Castle and I went apple picking at
Linvilla Orchards and enjoyed some apple cider donuts (my first). The donuts were quite sweet but I like the texture. We also picked out couple of squash and got some apple cider. Back home, I made a light dinner with the spaghetti squash, very fresh and tasty. Dr. Castle, being the king of pies, made a delicious apple pie from the apples we picked. Very tart, fluffy crust and perfect with vanilla ice-cream.
